İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) organizes information meetings to facilitate the adaptation of the new officials who started to work for IMM and to give them information about tasks, activities and vision projects of the different departments of the municipality. Within this context, IMM’s Deputy Traffic Manager and Roadmaps for Energy (R4E) Project Manager Esma Dilek made a presentation about the city-wide traffic systems, deployed Intelligent Transportation Systems solutions and the activities of Directorate of Traffic at IMM’s Kasımpasa Building on 17 thof July 2017.
 
New officials were also informed about R4E Project, which is an EU funded Project under the Horizon 2020 programme that aims to develop a new type of energy strategy through visions and roadmaps for the eight partner cities, in co-creation with relevant local stake holders. Officials were provided information about project focus areas (i.e. Smart Mobility, Smart Buildings, and Smart Urban Spaces) which are within the domain of sustainable energy that are closely linked to the municipalities main responsibilities.
