Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) organized "Car Free Day" march in Kadıköy Bağdat Street to promote more movement as walking, biking etc. and to draw attention to healthy life within the scope of European Mobility Week.

European Mobility Week- Car Free Day march took place on Sunday, September 22, 2019. The Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem İmamoğlu, Head of Delegation of the EU Christian Berger, Head of Cabinet of EU Commissioner for Transport Matej Zakonjsek, Mayor of Kadıköy district Serdil Dara Odabaşı , Secretary General of IMM Yavuz Erkut and Deputy Secretary General of IMM İbrahim Orhan Demir attended the march. 

The march started on Kadıköy, Caddebostan at 10:00 a.m. and continued up to  Göztepe 60. Yıl Park. In the end of march, The Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and other top attendants made speeches to mark the meaning and importance of the day and visited activity areas in the park.
